South Windsor’s 38th Annual Strawberry Fest and Craft Fair
38 Years! Amazing! Planning is well underway for South Windsor’s 38th annual Strawberry Fest and Craft Fair!
Literally, 100s of volunteers are readying for the crowds; food vendors are geared up and eager to serve you, and this year, Connecticut’s premier band, the Savage Brothers is ready to entertain!
38 Years, how time flies – much has changed since the beginning – but at least two things have remained the same; the South Windsor Republican Town Committee members proudly organize and run this event; and we still serve the best strawberry shortcake around.
South Windsor’s Strawberry Festival started 38 years ago at the Berry Patch farm. It has become the single most attended event in town, and for good reason. Admission is free, parking is free, many of the activities for the kids are free, the crowds are spectacular and the many volunteers work hard to make your day fun filled and one to remember.
This festival has grown by leaps and bounds over the past 38 years, once attended by a few hundred; the festival now is enjoyed by nearly 10,000 on a nice day!
Come join the fun! We promise it will be a day filled with fun!
